Overview

Kayleigh is a Senior Research Assistant in the Centre for Research in Public Health and Community Care (CRIPACC), predominantly working on the English Health Behaviour in School-aged Children (HBSC) study. HBSC is an international survey-based study conducted in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO). The HBSC study gains insight into young people's health and wellbeing, health behaviours and their social context; covering a vast variety of topics including bullying, obesity, body image, physical activity, health behaviours and substance use. The study is repeated every four years allowing for trends to be examined.

Alongside her role as Senior Research Assistant on the English HBSC study, Kayleigh is working towards her PhD. Her doctoral research seeks to explore the health consequences of adolescent relational bullying and identify factors which help young people positively navigate relational bullying.
