Lyndsay Duthie - Associate Professor for Learning and Teaching for School of Creative Arts and Head of the Film and Television Programme

An award winning media educator and television executive producer, specialising in factual formats and documentaries. Lyndsay’s career began at ITV where she spent 10 years originating and producing hit programmes from talk shows through to documentaries on death row, become one of the counttry's youngest series producers aged 23. Lyndsay went on to found her own company, Ice Blue Media. Lyndsay has also served on the Board of Directors for Women in Film & TV and is a speaker/judge at events such as Royal Television Society, International Emmys and Sheffield DocFest. In 2013 Lyndsay took up post as Course Director for the University of Hertfordshire’s Film & TV Programme and has won the Vice-Chancellor’s Award for three consecutive years for Excellence in Education and Graduate Success. Lyndsay is co-author for The TV Studio Production Handbook published by I.B Tauris/Bloomsbury Academic (2016). Lyndsay is currently on the excutive board for Royal Television Society TVC.
