Dr Paramesh Vuddanda

Overview

Dr. Paramesh Vuddanda is a research scientist at Centre for Research into Topical Drug Delivery and Toxicology, University of Hertfordshire.  He is former researcher at Lulea University of Technology, Sweden and a visiting scientist at University College London (UCL) School of Pharmacy, UK. He received his PhD from Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) IIT (BHU), India. Dr. Vuddanda research interests includes development of bio/mucoadhesive and nanoparticulate drug delivery systems (oral, topical and pulmonary administration) with special focus to personalised and age appropriateness dosage forms. He has been exploring nanotechnology and polymer thin film technologies for various pharmaceutical and drug delivery applications. Dr. Vuddanda has published 24 international peer reviewed research publications and 1 book chapter. Dr. Vuddanda successfully completed several research projects funded by Kempe foundation, STINT, Swedish Pharmaceutical Society, Sweden and SimInhale consortium COST action. He is presently member of the COST action consortiums of SimInhale, ENBA and BioBrillouin. Dr. Vuddanda is active member of Age-Appropriate Formulations Workstream at European Paediatric Formulation Initiatives (EuPFI).
