Commercial and public engagement

CRIPACC is committed to engaging with a range of research users - from members of the general public, charities and third sector organisations plus local and national stakeholders, to ensure that our research reaches those who can use it to help improve the health of the public. At local level I work with organisations that support children, families and older people to access nutritious, safe and socially acceptable food. Public engagement is an integral part of my approach and that of everyone in CRIPACC; we take part in local health festivals and activities that translate our research and nationally we participate in events such as Food Matters Live and the ESRC's Festival of Social Science.  I have spoken at events such as the Scottish Government's 'children first' conference and the Food Ethics Council Business Forum to ensure messages about research are widely shared with a range of stakeholders.
