I am a research fellow at UH CAIR-ADAQ team. My current research interests include regional air quality modelling and climate change interactions (focuses on aerosol-climate interactions). For this research, I am using the global climate data - UK Met Office HadGEM2-ES data, downscale and run regional WRF-CMAQ model to simulate future air quality and investigate the most important meteorology-chemistry processes. I am participating in EU FP7 MEGAPOLI, TRANSPHORM and COST ES1004 action and responsible for the tasks related to climate change in those projects. I am also interested in remote sensing and use of the satellite products to improve the model simulations. I am supervising a few project students which working on MODIS aerosol and cloud products and OMI ozone profile for the atmospheric physical research.
Before joining CAIR-ADAQ, I completed my PhD study at the University of East Anglia (2002-2006), a postdoctoral work at the University of Leicester and part-time researcher at the University of Cambridge.
