Description

On 13th July 2015 the School of law hosted a workshop entitled ‘Regulating Internet trolling through technology and law’. The workshop was supported by the SSAHRI Multi-Disciplinary Research Grant, and co-organised by Edina Harbinja (as principal investigator) and Dr Chamu Kuppuswamy (School of Law) and Dr Nasser Abouzakhar, School of Computer Science.

The aim of the event was to address legal and technological aspects of regulation of trolling and other similar online behaviours (revenge porn, online harassment, cyber bullying etc.). The event benefited from lively discussions, connecting researchers and students from the IT/Internet/Intellectual property law fields and computer science, both external and the UH ones.
