Abstract

This is a total revision of a previous volume which sets out to support teachers and therapists using movement and dance as an intervention in special educational settings with children and adults.

Notes

From reflection on many years of working with a range of children and adults with special needs the author brings an easy to use, practical range of activities for teachers and therapists to employ when working with groups in special needs settings. Relevant theoretical concepts, an overview of developmental movement patterns and systematic exercises are provided to stimulate the reader to develop their own versions depending on the needs of the group.
