Cerebral Vascular Accidents such as haemorrhagic and ischaemic stroke are a
leading cause of disability, and affect around 200 per 10,000 of the population particularly affecting older people. This paper describes the development of a patient interface and therapist workspace, for a new prototype clinical system using haptic interface technologies for machine mediated upper limb stroke rehabilitation.
