Explores issues related to employment in the US film industry, reporting on a study carried out between June 1999 and March 2002 around the themes of 'getting in, staying in and getting on' in Hollywood (Los Angeles). The study set out to explore the experience of freelance workers within a sector changing rapidly a both a global and local level.
