Light leaf spot (Pyrenopeziza brassicae) is a polycyclic disease of winter oilseed rape (Brassica napus). Airborne ascospores are thought to start the epidemics,
which then progress through repeated infections caused by secondary production of inoculum (conidiospores) subject to appropriate weather conditions
