Research is a key aspect of the identity and skill set of a Clinical Psychologist and we aim to embed a passion for research within all our trainees. With the support of our research supervisors, our trainees complete high-quality empirical studies and systematic literature reviews, as well as smaller-scale service improvement projects, adopting an evidence-based approach to clinical practice, wherever possible. Our research activity is organised into three steams, which are: Clinical Psychology Training and Professional Issues, Health and Wellbeing, and Family Wellbeing and Attachments.
