Research interests
Dr Aarti Rughoo is a principal lecturer at the Hertfordshire Business School and her research interests are in the fields of European banking efficiency and integration, inequality, the impact of the financial crisis on financial markets and the economics of food vulnerability. She has publications in the Journal of Banking and Finance and the European Journal of Finance, amongst others. She is also collaborating with FareShare on projects pertaining to the optimisation of surplus food redistribution and their socio-economic impact as well as the conceptualisation of food vulnerability.
