Research interests

Researcher with a background is in social care and community work whose research interests include social care, ageing, dementia, community wellbeing, digital technologies and inequalities. Her PhD explored engagement in cultural activities within an Age Friendly City. This was undertaken at Manchester Metropolitan University where she supported several projects focusedon ageing populations and people with learning disabilities. Currently working on two projects within National Priorities programme for Adult Social Care Social Work:  Digital Technolgies to support Social Wellbeing for community dwelling older adults in reciept of social care and their carers (DiTSoW) which the University of Hertfordshire is leading and an Evaluation of the NDTi Community Led Support programme.
