Overview
Amira Mohammed received her bachelor’s degree from Cairo University, Giza, Egypt, in 2002 and a graduate diploma from Cairo University in 2004. She received a Ph.D. from Texas A&M University, College Station. She worked for two years as an electrical design engineer in the Electrical Project Department at the Gila Electrical Company, Cairo, Egypt, for another two years at Cairo Metro Company, Egypt, and at Alexandria Company for Construction, Egypt. From 2016 to 2018, she was a research assistant at Texas A&M University at Qatar . Her research interests include grid control, grid stability, voltage stability, smart grid, big data management, and analytics for the smart grid. She has published 25 peer-reviewed international conference and journal articles.
