Overview
Andrew Smith is Programme Leader for the MSc Sustainable Planning programme. Andrew co-leads the academic skills team for Health, Medicine and Life Sciences (HML). He is a Senior Lecturer and leads modules across BSc and MSc programmes in the Geography, Environment and Planning subject area.
He is a member of the University of Hertfordshire's Smart Mobility Unit and Urbanism Unit.
Research interests include the decarbonisation of planning and transport, approaches to place-making and place-naming in urban and rural locations and embedding health into planning.
