Overview
I am a Senior Research Fellow at UH and a part-time Senior Research Adviser for the Research Support Service (RSS) at University of Leicester Hub. I am also the principal investigator for a NIHR funded project exploring policies and practice related to access to service for people with rare diseases (2025-2027).
I have a medical background with clinical research experience, which began in 2013 when I was involved in the delivery of a randomised control trial in Critical Care. In 2018, I completed a Master’s of Science in Public Health with a Health Services Research focus. I have been a research fellow at University of Hertfordshire since 2017, leading and working on research and evaluation projects using quantitative (surveys) and qualitative design and analysis.
Prior to my research roles, I worked as an Anaesthesia, Intensive Care and Pain Management Doctor in Italy, Canada and the UK for 11 years.
