Current DClinPsy Research Supervision

Currently the DClinPsy research I am supervising is investigating:

- Young people's experiences of receiving a diagnosis of autism from a service provision perspective 

- Stories of carer child dyads who have experienced historic domestic abuse

- Neurodivergent trainee experiences of DClinPsy training

- Parent's experiences of neurodivergent children's experiences of accessing education

- Neurodivergent children's experiences of accessing mainstream education 

- Child protection

2023: The use of online photovoice to explore the experiences of mothers who have been subject to recurrent care proceedings.

2023: Residential childcare workers’ experiences of behaviours that challenge.

2023: Anxiety and extreme demand avoidance in children and adolescents: the roles of sensory sensitivies and intolerance of uncertainty.

2022: Understanding the experiences of Black birthmothers who have had their child(ren) removed from their care. 

2022: Community partnerships in the design and delivery of mental heatlh and wellbeing services: a constructivist grounded theory study.

2021: Social workers' experiences of working in Children's Services: A Grounded Theory Study.

2018: The experience of birth relatives who engage in psychotherapeutic counselling following loss of a child/children to compulsory adoption.
