Overview

Dr Birinder Singh Sandhawalia is Principal Lecturer and Director of Doctor of Business Administration, a professional doctorate programme at the University of Hertfordshire (UH) that focuses on real world business and organisational issues. Birinder is also Subject Lead for Project Management at UH where he led the MSc Project Management and MSc Project Management Practice programmes during the years 2012-2019, and continues to teach on the MBA and other post-graduate programmes. He has published over 25 journal and conference papers in research areas of leadership, knowledge management and learning, project life-cycles and project management, collaboration, innovation adoption, decision-making, continuous improvement and process maturity, and information systems.

Birinder has a good record of consulting and working with businesses in the public and private sectors, and continues to work with managers to support them to reflect on their practice. He is able to design and lead practice-based education programmes that address professional development and research training needs to develop participants as reflective practitioners and enhance their business and managerial skills.
