Quantitative forecasting: unbiased approaches based on relative error minimization.

Overview

My research is aimed at developing quantitative methods which are based on simple principles but which provide advantages over existing methods. I feel that much analytic research will be ignored because of its technical complexity. The simpler a method is, the more likely it is to be understood and applied.

Most of my work is in the field of Decision Science or Analytics.

I have developed the following methods:

Neutral Data Fitting

Automatic Democratic Method for objective scoring and ranking.

Unbiased model selection and model building for prediction based on relative error minimization.

Least squares percentage regression.

Maximum correlation model building (for multiple dependent variables).

Efficiency Profiling.
