Research interests

Colleen is a practicing Chartered Occcupational Psychologist and member of the HCPC and associate fellow of the British Psychological Society (BPS).  Following working in industry she ran her own consultancy before joining the University of Hertfordshire as Programme Leader for the stage 1 training of Occupational Psychologists. 

Inspired by the practical implications of applied psychology, her focus is on developing excellence in occupational psychology. 

Her research spans a range of applied topics including, performance, engagement and commitment.  She has led to a range of workplace interventions, evaluations and research including learning and development, values, thriving, working with cancer, and alcohol and work.

She supervises the research of stage 1 Occupational Psychologists and PhD researchers.
