Overview

Drew  is a screenwriter, playwright and director. His plays are published by Nick Hern Books and include Love the Sinner for the National Theatre and Someone Else’s Shoes (Soho/ETT). Drew has co-run an experimental theatre company, written drama for BBC Radio 4, published poetry and prose in creative journals (including The Malahat Review; The Antagonish Review), worked briefly as a freelance arts journalist (Globe and Mail), and been an associate writer with the National Theatre. He has taught script-writing and collaborative performance-writing with actors, directors and writers in Japan, Zimbabwe, Germany and across the UK, and his award winning short films have been supported by Film London, BFI, Creative England and Working Title Films screening at festivals across Europe and North America.

Drew continues to write feature scripts for production companies in the UK, Italy and the US and is currently working on an original feature thriller as writer/director. He has recently begun work on his first novel.
