Overview

Etelka is a post doc researcher at the Wolfson Centre for Biodetection and Instrumentation research, where she applies her background in Biomedical sciences and Material sciences to explore aerosol collection methods. Her recent work includes the novel use of dielectrophoresis to actuate polystyrene latex particles as a less harsh alternative than electrostatic precipitators. Etelka is dedicated to expanding knowledge and innovation in the diverse application of aerosol science, including the protection of plant, animal and human health through bioaerosol collection and detection.
