Overview
Dr Zemelka is a Lecturer in Water Quality and Water Resources Management. She is an environmental scientist with particular interest in monitoring, impact assessment, management, chemistry of the aquatic environment and climate change. Her recent research focused on the impacts of plastic pollution in the aquatic environment by utilising a catchment-based approach (CABA); the characteristics of suspended sediment in the drinking water reservoir catchment using the multi-parameter sediment fingerprinting.
