Personal profile
Overview
Dr Zemelka is a Lecturer in Water Quality and Water Resources Management and an environmental scientist with expertise in aquatic environmental monitoring, environmental impact assessment, water chemistry, and climate change. Her recent research focuses on the assessment of heavy metal contamination in soils, the impacts of plastic pollution in aquatic environments using a catchment-based approach (CABA), and the characterisation of suspended sediments in drinking water reservoir catchments through multi-parameter sediment fingerprinting techniques.
