Overview
Gizdem is a research fellow in the NIHR-funded DACHA study (Developing research resources and minimum data set for care homes' adoption and use) since December 2019. Prior to that, she worked as a teaching fellow in the Department of Digital Humanities at King’s College London. Gizdem completed her MSc and PhD at the London School of Economics, under the Information Systems and Innovation Faculty Research Group, and was awarded her BEng (Hons) from the University of Sheffield's Department of Computer Science. Her research interests include health care information systems, technology in care, policy research, ageing studies, and qualitative methods.
