Prior to joining UH in 2016, I was a Senior Analyst for National Audit Office (NAO), working on a range of studies evaluating high risk, high value government projects including Universal Credit and structural tax reliefs. From 2007-11, I was Research Director for the Central Government Division of ORC International, overseeing tender applications and project delivery.
I completed my BA(Hons) in Applied Social Research at Manchester Metropolitan University, where I also completed a Dip/DipHE in Youth and Community Work. I completed my PhD at Aston University in 2001, looking at the organisational processes involved in managing safety risk. I did my MSc in Psychology here at UH in 2015/16, happily awarded with Distinction.
