Overview
Jasmine Chavda a Research Fellow working on the Neurodiversity and Mental Health research stream within NIHR ARC East of England Mental Health over the Lifecourse theme. She is part of the Centre for Research in Public Health and Community Care in HSK, and the Neurodiversity Applied Research Unit (PANDA) in LMS at the University of Hertfordshire. Jasmine is also the Public and Community Involvement, Engagement and Participation (PCIEP) co-ordinator for the Mental Health theme.
The focus of her work is to develop research around Mental health access, provision and support to adults and young people with ADHD, which she is now developing as part of her PhD in Psychology at UH. As part of her role her she is also creating a schools’ network to propel research in the area of mental health and Neurodiversity in schools.
She prevously worked as a Senior Researcher at the Institute of Health Research, University of Bedfordshire, on the Children’s Health in London and Luton (CHILL) study, a large public health study funded by the NIHR PHR. It was a longitudinal study on over 3500 children investigating the effects of air pollution on children’s health.

Jasmine is a qualified secondary school teacher specialising in Psychology and Health and Social Care. She has also delivered lectures to Msc students on the real-world research process.
