Research interests

Jennifer is interested in using brain markers to stratify hetergeneous clinical populations, such as neurodivergent populations, genetic syndromes, and mental health conditions. The goal of her work is to refine diagnostics and improve the personalisation of interventions for those with complex presentations. She is also interested in promoting co-production within clinical and cognitive neuroscience research, particularly with neurodiverse populations. She specialises in working with rare genetic syndromes associated with autism and Intellectual Disability (ID) using behavioural assessments, parent interviews, and Electroencephalography (EEG). She also has a working knowledge of MRI acqusition and analysis, and genomics. Her expertise focus on the clinical and cognitive assessment of children, young people, and adults with complex needs to improve quality of life for individuals and their families.
