Overview
Julia Mackintosh is currently lead tutor for primary School Direct Salaried (SDS) routes into teaching, subject lead for primary geography and a primary science tutor. Previously, she was a primary school teacher for 12 years, leading science and coordinating Initial Teacher Training and teachers' Continuing Professional Development at her school.
Her research has included a case study of trainee teachers using Lesson Study and she is currently researching the development of primary science subject leaders.
