Overview

Laura is a Senior Lecturer in Pharmaceutics within UH's School of Life and Medical Science.

She graduated with a BSc in Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnologies in 2011 and with an MSc in Medical Biotechnologies and Molecular Medicine from the University of Bari in 2014. She then gained her PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences at King’s College London in 2018, concerned with the development of conjugated polymer nanoparticles for bioimaging.

She currently sits within Topical Drug Delivery and Toxicology Centre. Her broad research interests encompass lung biointerfaces, spanning from novel diagnostics and delivery systems to models to support their development and evaluation. She is also the institution lead for the University of Hertfordshire within the EPSRC CDT in Aerosol Sciences.
