Overview
Laxmi is a Senior Lecturer in Pharmaceutics.
She obtained a MPharm (Hons) degree from School of Pharmacy, University of London. Following this, she registered as a pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council, and then returned to UCL School of Pharmacy and completed a PhD in Pharmaceutics.
She joined the University of Hertfordshire in 2017. She teaches on the MPharm and BSc Pharmaceutical Sciences degree programmes and has an interest in topical drug delivery. She has worked extensively in the areas of skin and nail drug delivery and her current research is focussed on drug delivery to the nasal and oral cavities, particularly for infection management.
