Research interests

Lida is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Research in Public Health and Community Care (CRIPACC). She is the Programme Coordinator of the Social Care Research Capaciry Development Programme ASCENT.

Her research interests are in the field of health and care research, and specifically in the areas of mental healthcare, social care, and research capacity building. 

She was a Researcher in Residence in Adult Social Care, hosted by the Hertfordshire County Council. She joined ARC EoE and the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT) in October 2020 as a Researcher in Residence evaluating community mental healthcare. She worked as a Research Assistant at the Anna Freud Centre and participated in the evaluation of children and young people’s mental healthcare.

Lida completed her PhD at Anglia Ruskin University (UK) studying the potential of knowledge mobilisation for public mental healthcare.  She worked in the Netherlands and Greece in public and non-profit organisations and holds a Masters in Creative and Media Enterprises (University of Warwick, UK) and a Bachelors in Sociology (Panteion University, Greece). 

Lida welcomes knowledge sharing opportunities with researchers, policymakers and practitioners that can enable cross-fertilisation and development of solutions to improve health and care provision in the UK and internationally.
