Overview
Mahmoud hold an MPhil from UMIST, and a PhD in mechanical engineering from the University of Manchester and a Post PhD in mechanical engineering from the University of Aberdeen. Having more than 10-year of engineering work experience prior to his academic professional, Mahmoud has over 15 years academic experience in field of sustainable energy, structural integrity, experimental/computer simulations of solid/fluid materials and bioengineering. He has published +200 technical refereed research papers in named journals/conferences on various subjects in engineering fields, including book chapters, and patents. He is principal investigator and IP holder of the Artherx GraftBolt. He is currently a senior lecturer with the University of Hertfordshire.
