Dr. Nurgul Chambers
Nurgul Chambers is currently working as a Senior Lecturer in Finance in the Business School at the University of Hertfordshire.
Nurgul Chambers taught in the School of Business at Marmara University in Istanbul from 1989-2015. She completed her PhD in 1993 and she became a tenured Professor of finance at Marmara University in 2006. She has successfully accumulated 30 years of university teaching and research experience in the field of finance. Over the course of her career, she has typically taught courses in corporate finance, derivative markets, investment analysis & portfolio management, financial management, firm value, and international finance at both undergraduate and graduate levels, including at PhD level. To date, Dr. Chambers has supervised around 30 Masters and 5 doctorate dissertations to completion.
Dr. Chambers has also taught in the School of Business Administration at the University of Vermont in the US and in the Aberdeen Business School of Robert Gordon University in the UK. She was a visiting researcher at the Cameron School of Business, University of North Carolina in the US.
