Personal profile
Overview
I am a Senior Lecturer in Advanced Clinical Practice and currently the Module Lead for Advanced Health Assessment & Diagnostic Indicators and Advanced Clinical Practice. I bring extensive experience from primary care and GP Out-Of-Hours settings and remain clinically active as a locum ACP, managing same-day undifferentiated adult and paediatric presentations, prescribing, and requesting diagnostic tests and imaging.
Since moving into academia, I am committed to advancing my research interests, particularly in advanced practice and clinical decision-making. With a strong background in urgent care, I am passionate about supporting the development of future healthcare professionals through teaching, mentorship, and education. I continue to expand my expertise across the four pillars of advanced practice—clinical practice, leadership and management, education, and research—to enhance patient care and professional development within the healthcare workforce.
