Personal profile
Research interests
Currently involved in two main projects that implement both numerical and experimental analyses; the projects can be categorised as follows:
- Cardiovascular research: this project is related to the development and construction of an in vitro tissue engineered model which has as main goal to develop a novel tissue engineered construct/scaffold that can be exploited for therapeutic use (i.e. biocompatible implant).
- MEMS sensor application to human gait analysis:The outcome of this work will be a model that would predict, track and monitor changes in joint function.
