Overview

Dr Pietro Caggiano studied a BSc in Cognitive Psychology and a MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience at La Sapienza University of Rome. He moved to London in 2013 where he carried out a funded research internship at the Goldsmiths University where he subsequently completed his PhD. Dr Pietro Caggiano is currently a Senior Lecturer in Cognitive Neuropsychology and Biological Psychology and member of the Body Representation Network steering Committee.

Dr Caggiano's research focuses on body representation and the underlying mechanisms and relationship between the mind, body and self and embodied cognition, sense of agency/ownership, motor affordances and sensory-motor integration.
