Personal profile

Overview

I am primarily a philosopher of education but work with a range of other researchers (especially in sociology) as well as professional artists and community groups.

Research interests

I have a wide range of research interests including: Higher Education (currently AI use), STEM+Arts (STEAM) education, and elective home education.

I am presently co-investigator on a project in primary schools (Key Stage 2) understanding and developing teachers integration of the arts and STEM subject areas. This is jointly funded by the Arts Council England and the Paul Hamlyn Foundation as part of a £1 million place partnership project in the midlands.
