Personal profile

Overview

I am a Physics PhD candidate at the University of Hertfordshire, working under the supervision of supervision of Dr Tomasz Łukowski. I obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics and Applied Mathematics (2012-2014) from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, where I stayed to complete a Bachelor of Science Honours (BSc Hons) degree in Physics (2015) and a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Theoretical Physics (2016-2017). Thereafter I obtained a Master of Advanced Studies (MASt) degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Cambridge (2018/2019) before beginning my PhD here at the Univesity of Hertfordshire in October 2019.

Research interests

I am a theoretical physicist, primarily interested in exploring the remarkable connections between quantum field theory and geometry. My research focuses on modern geometric approaches to scattering amplitudes, including on-shell methods, positive geometry, tropical geometry, cluster algebras, etc. I am currently completing my PhD in Physics at the University of Hertfordshire under the supervision of Dr Tomasz Łukowski.
