Actively engages in partnerships and professional activities beyond the university:

  • Led evaluations with a range of public sector organisations (e.g. Local Authorities, Teacher Development Agency, Department for Culture, Media and Sport, DfES; UNESCO)
  • Committee member of the International Professional Development Association 2004-2020, past Chair and Vice Chair, Co-Chair 2006-2018 sub-committee organising the annual international conference and leds reviews of papers for this.
  • Reviews for a number of journals in the area of professional develeopment and learning.
  • Supports 'Knowledge for Business' initiatives, including work with a Coaching company to develop and market a product to raise children's aspirations.
  • Lead and Chair, East of England  Consortium: Masters in Teaching and Learning bid and programme development, 2009-10.
