Shahzavar Karimzadi is a Senior Lecturer in economics at Hertfordshire Business School. He has led and taught a range of modules both at undergraduate and post-graduate levels. At the post-graduate level, he has led and taught Global Financial Markets, Monetary Economics, and Research Methods. The Modules that Shahzavar has led and taught at the undergraduate level include; Introduction to Economics, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, International Economics, Financial Markets and Institutions, Cap[ital Markets, Macroeconomic Models, History of Economic Thought and Public Finance.
Shahzavar has a BSc and MA in Economics and graduated from the University of London with a PhD in Monetary Economics. His academic background also includes a BA in Philosophy from Birkbeck, University of London and teacher training certificate from the University of Greenwich.
Before joining the University of Hertfordshire, Shahzavar taught at London Metropolitan University, North London University and at the Business School of Beijing Electronic College in China. His portfolio of lecturing experience also includes teaching Economics at Goldsmith College (University of London), North London College and South Thames College.
