Research interests
Non-profit management and business history. Having worked in the heritage sector for 30 years Dr Davies has a particular interest in how museums and archives are managed. Her current research focuses on performance indicators in the non-profit cultural heritage sector and the use of historic collections in the 21st century.
Teaching specialisms
Teaching Dr Davies is the module leader for a core undergraduate module Business and Commerical Awareness (6BUS0279) and joint module leader for the postgraduate Individual Consultancy Project (7BUS2227).
Supervision Between 2023 and 2024 she supervised the final stages of Dr Sarah Buckingham's, DHeritage thesis, 'Disneyland or Wasteland? Avoiding Both in Post-Conflict Heritage Reconstruction'. Dr Davies is currently supervising these doctoral projects.

Commercial and public engagement
