Overview

Wayne is a lecturer in Creative Writing in the School of Humanities. He joined the university in 2016.

 

His research interests include:

Representations of Working-Class Masculinity

Contemporary UK & US Poetics.

Hybridised and Experimental Literary Forms

Wayne welcomes PhD proposals on any aspect of the above research fields.

Wayne is the author of Alarum, a collection of poetry, published by Bloodaxe Books, name a Poetry Book Society Guest-selector's Choice, and shortlisted for the Roehampton Poetry Prize. His is also the recipient of the Poetry Society's Geoffrey Dearmer Prize.
