Research interests
My name is William Bate, and I have recently begun working as a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Hertfordshire with Dr Mykola Gordovskyy. This is my first position after submitting my PhD in August of 2024 at Queen's University Belfast.
My current work consists of performing data-driven MHD and particle simulations of solar flares to better understand the particle acceleration processes present within such events.
