Overview
Dr Sun completed his PhD degree in the Aerospace Faculty in Delft University of Technology. He later performed Post-Doctoral research in the University of Minnesota with Prof Ellen Longmire. Dr Sun was Lecturer and Senior Lecturer in City, University of London between 2015-2021. He was appinted Senior Lecturer in University of Herfordshire in 2022.
Dr Sun is PI of research projects funded by EPSRC and Royal Society. He has research interests in fluid mechanics, aerodynamics, thermodynamics. At City University, he worked in the National Wind Tunnel Facilities.
Research interests
Dr Sun has received funding from EPSRC and Royal Society. He has ample experiences on experimental aerodynamics and flow control.
