A profile of prior experience for different routes into teaching over time

Following a successful application to internal competitive call for a School of Education Research Award, I was awarded £1000 to carry out this research project. Data was collected about the prior experience of current trainees and new trainees with respect to work experience in school; voluntary or paid work in school; as a teaching assistant, an unqualified teacher or in another capacity; and the length of this experience, and relate this to outcomes for the different routes into teaching.
