this project aims to explore the experiences of bereavement and access to support in Gujarati families through the following research questions:

How do individuals from a Gujarati background make sense of their bereavement and grief?

How has bereavement affected their mental health?

How do individuals from a Gujarati background experience support with bereavement? Do they find services accessible / culturally competent?

What are the barriers and facilitators of accessing help and support for bereavement?

How can support be implemented and what would be useful?
