Project Details
Description
The aims of the review are to conduct an overview of how different schemes have been represented and implemented in the UK and internationally, and review the evidence for what works in what circumstances with what outcomes.
The objectives are to identify:
a) The dominant approaches to promoting community engagement with and awareness of dementia in the UK
b) The underlying assumptions/theories about how they work, the constituent elements or mechanisms of the interventions,
c) How “ good” is recognised and the linked outcomes that people identify as helping to capture that
d) How context (ie enablers and inhibiting factors) shape the achievement of those outcomes.
