Project Details
Description
Life expectancy has increased significantly in recent decades and the number of people in later life has grown rapidly which is against care staff shortages. The aim of this project is to develop a software system using artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to conduct activity recognition which can indicate the vulnerable clients in danger due to a sudden collapse (e.g. a fall) in order to reduce the risk of danger in living. This system can monitor clients’ living 24/7 so that it can support vulnerable adults to live safely alone.
