Advanced mmWave MIMO 4D radar for complex traffic detection and tracking

This project will expand Tsien's product line by creating the most advanced sensor
technologies to detect and track up to 200 objects in complex road environments
in the form of radars, enhancing traffic flow and road safety for users. The
company's strategic plan is to incorporate the latest technology into their products
and break into the Smart cities and highways market. This KTP will drive this by
bringing to market new radar solutions that can be customised into 2D, 3D and 4D
radars.
This KTP will build upon Tsien's current commercial radar products by working
with academics at the University of Hertfordshire. The innovation uses advanced
radar detection and tracking techniques, coupled with Multiple-Input Multiple
Output (MIMO) and AI technology. Using a phased development approach, Tsien
will be able to supply a range of leading-edge products using advanced signal
processing, putting them at the forefront of the radar detection field. The radar
sensor market is a rapidly growing area for innovative products, revolutionising the
way Smart cities and transportation infrastructure are being managed. The
successful delivery of this project will place Tsien as a world class advanced radar
sensor supplier
